    Executive Assistant

    Worcester Art Museum seeks a full-time (37.5 hours per week) Executive Assistant to assist in managing the Director’s schedule and office. The Executive Assistant will manage daily and business activities of the Director's office by strategically planning and balancing the Director’s schedule and calendar, arranging meetings, and providing general administrative support. Other key duties include project management assistance, assisting with internal and external presentations, and monitoring the Director's office budget. The Executive Assistant will also assist in research endeavors, planning and managing special events, and serving as a resource to the senior leadership team in scheduling, coordinating, and corresponding with internal and external audiences to further Museum-wide initiatives.

    Successful candidate must possess strong administrative, organizational and communicative skills, with the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information. Candidate must also be able to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relations with all levels of staff and external contacts, along with working effectively within teams and independently to accomplish goals and implement initiatives.

    Position requires BA or equivalent, and three years of related experience. Must have excellent computer skills including word processing, Excel, PowerPoint experience. Must work proactively, anticipating needs, conflicts and opportunities, while exercising considerable judgment, initiative, and discretion.
